Player on the crapper!

Hi guys,
I have a Philips DVD 750VR. Its about 8 months old. It suddenly stopped reading DVD format, JPEG format, and VCD format. It still reads and plays music CDs fine. With the formats that it wont play any longer...when the disk seats into the spindel, it spins for about 5 seconds and makes a clicking sound 3 to 4 times....then repeats this precess about 5 more times. Then it says the disk either has an error or is the wrong format. Anyone know what the problem might be? Thanks

The simple answer is that your player is broken. It's still under warranty, so you should be okay.
