Cables for DVD-A?

I was curious if everyone just uses normal RCA cables for their DVD-A. Is there a special DVD-A cable (meaning one with six ends, rather than three standard RCA audio cables)? Thanks.

I am using 6 individual cables for my DVD-A/SACD audio from my Denon 2900.

I am not aware of any "special" cables for this application although I would not be suprised to find someone marketing some.

I was hoping you'd drop by Brian

I did find some on eBay, they do seem to be 6 in one (stuck together).

What kind of cables are you using?

Hmm, I honestly don't remember what I paid. Transparent is a high end cable company (for which I will no doubt be ridiculed ) I also have several pair of their speaker cable to connect my Maggies with.

A used equipment site that I have dealt with in the past lists a pair for $200.00.

Is that nuts? Maybe, but since I wanted them I got them.

I would try some offerings from www.bettercables.com or www.bluejeanscable.com since they have been recommended here.

I use 3 sets of standard Acoustic Reference RCA cables to connect my Denon 1600 to my Denon 2802. I know they aren't the best (or anywhere near it) RCA cables but for the price I think they sound really good. They seem to be well shielded which is important. I have them all zip tied together to prevent excess clutter.

I use a set of cables from www.bluejeanscable.com. I like them because they have six different colors which helps keeping the connections straight. They use high quality cables and connectors.
