Cyberhome CH-DVD 300S for $25
Best Buy has it online for $40 - $15 in rebates. I don't know if it's priced that way in the store but you can specify store pickup of an online order if you don't want the free shipping.

I read that Radio Shack will also have it for $25 after rebate one day only, Saturday, April 10th.
I already have one but I'm considering getting a spare at this price!

Does this do correct anamorphic PAL to NTSC conversion? I would definitely pick one up if it does, since my Daewoo 3000's can't do it.
It's pretty amazing that you can now buy DVD players for less than the price of the Panic Room SE DVD.

I believe this model does not turn off macrovision and I believe it doesn't do correct anamorphic PAL to NTSC conversion.
It can easily be made region-free, but I only have tested it with non-anamorphic PAL discs which it handled very well. But I remember reading that this model didn't handle the anamorphic PAL correctly.

This is available again for $35.99 with $4 MIR.
I'm possibly thinking of picking one up just to use as a CD player at work. However, this thing gets awful reviews at Amazon. I wonder if it's even worth the cheap price.

I'm perfectly happy with the two I own. I'm only using one right now but I have the second one as a spare. The interlaced component to my 27" TV looks great.
