Problems with my DVD player.
Just picked up a new Onkyo HTIB Onkyo HTS760 system and it rocks, but when I play my DVD's the color fades from dark to light the whole way through? WHats up? I do have my VCR hooked up along with my DVD player so I can record shows when I am not home, my questions since these are hooked up together is the copy protection on the DVD player preventing me from watching DVD's normally? What other ways can I hook both of these up w/o affecting my VCR recordings? Any thoughts? Thanks in advance.

The speakers are not video shielded. Move them further away from the television and the problem should be eliminated. This is a common problem with HIB speakers.

I think he's saying he has the DVD player connected to the VCR which is then connected to the TV. If that's the case it's the Macrovision copy protection that is interfering with normal playback. You need to connect the DVD player directly to the TV so if your TV doesn't have enough inputs you need to buy a switcher.
