I havn't posted much in a while but have to ask a few questions. I have become interested in moving to a front projection setup very soon. Can anyone answer these for me?
1. What kind of PQ should I get out of standard dvd when compared to a HD RPTV? I recently viewed some old Hitchcock VHS tapes at my college on a front projection system with a large screen (maybe 100 inches) and thought the quality was comparable to dvd on my HDTV. They were old tapes but I have never seen VHS look better!
2. What model/ specific features should I look for in a projector? My budget is anywhere up to 3000 if I bought one today.
3. Any specific websites that are helpfull with setting these systems up?
Thank You for any help!!!

AVSforum.com has more information than you would ever need. Check out the digital projection 3500 and under forum on there. Lots of helpful people.

No problem. Also Projectorcentral.com has a lot of information, including reviews and links to sites that sell the projectors. They also have a nifty calculator tool that lets you know how big your screen will be at certain lengths, or vise versa.
