one more component cable question.
since most cables are in 6' or more lenths are there ways to to custom make your own, (to buy the cables and the ends like you do with coax) i hate the look of all the excess cables and would like to clean it up a bit.

You could also try flex loom or some cable ties to organize a little better.

Yep I second that recommendation for Bluejeans.
The tools to make the cables BlueJeans make would cost way more than several sets from them. Not to mention buying all the correct colors and the bundle etc. They will make ANY size you want and do a excellent, quick job of it.

You can also just use RG-6 cable (that has RF connectors) and buy RF to RCA adapters and you will have some very high quality Component cables for a fraction of the cost. The only drawback is the cable tend to be a little stiff but other then that you won't get a better quality cable!
