I'm new to DVDs. Got our first player for Christmas. One movie plays back fine. Another skips, drags, pauses and loses sound periodically. Thougth it was defective, so I exchanged it for another of the same title. New one does it, too. Any suggestions as to why or what to do?

Sometimes it helps to say the player brand/model and which DVD you're having problems with. Many times there are compatibility problems and it's been previously identified.
