I have a nice BIG Mitsu WS but I need a second tv for a living room. Anything good out there for about $300? I know it is not much; however, I burned some $$ on my new computer monitor and can't afford more right now. 27" or smaller.
This will be for tv watching, some dvd too but there will be no home theater setup.

I have had good luck with the Panasonics. I have two 27" Panasonics. One is a TAU series 27" Flat , that I picked up for just a little over $300 as I recall, by doing a PM and using a Best Buy Coupon.

Don't feel like digging out the manual to get the model number, but it has a component in, S video front and back, and a composite in.

CircuitCity.com has a flat panasonic for $349 currently... that is a Brand/Model: PAN CT27SL13. I'd supply the link but they imbed session id's in their links

We have a Samsung 27" flat tube in the living room and couldn't be happier. We bought it at BestBuy earlier this year but I don't recall the price.

I've been happy with my 27" Sony WEGA. Normally I'm not a fan of Sony anything, but the TV has treated me very well.
