refurbdepot.com?

Anyone ever buy from there? They have the Toshiba HDTV Receiver that I've wanted to get for less than half what it goes for new! I'm wondering what you guys think?

This was my favorite from reserratings:

As with most of the other reviews, I got screwed by the RIPOFF DEPOT as well. This whole activity was a lesson in stupidity, my own! I have no problem with used equipment and have puchased stuff before, but not sight unseen as in this case. For all you cheap bastards that think you are getting a deal be forewarned. I purchased a compaq laptop from these jerks. No email confirming order, no shipping invoice, came in a plain brown box, not factory box as advertised. Machine was beat up and missing components (802.11 module & floppy drive). After six weeks of hassles and lies by Judy the owner/customer service, I returned the product today in person. I flew to NY and drove to their place of business in Brooklyn. Its a dilapidated old building that looks almost like a "Crack House"
No sign and the door is locked and you have to be buzzed in. Items are piled in boxes along the walls. There is no "warehouse" that your returned items ship to. There are 5 desks manned by timid Jewish guys talking on the phones. Judy, the owner sits up front barking orders to employees and lying to customers like you and me. She continued to lie to my face as she ran my credit card for the refund, yet charging me a 7.5% restocking fee. Had I not shown up in person, I never would have gotten any money back. She continued to exclaim how she would make it up to me on my next order. (Fat Chance!)I took pictures of the place if anyone cares. Trust me folks, this place is hideous. Check the NY BBB, they have also said to stay clear of this place. Don't expect your emails or phone calls to be returned by this group if your product
arrives DOA or is missing parts.

This is why I like this forum, lots of input so we do not need to make the same mistake over and over again.
