Gateway LCD TVs?
Has anyone brought are know anything about the Gateway 17" and 18" LCD TV or monitors that they are selling on their website. They are selling at a decent price bur I am having a hard time finding any reviews of these products so that people can point out their problems. Any suggestions are comments?

I've found myself in the same situation.
What did I do? Took a stroll into a Gateway store this weekend.
Their survice aside (which sucked and is another topic)...
The 17" is quality. The 18" has a whole lot lacking and about the only thing it has going for it is the complete silver motif.
About the only one bad thing that I can say about the 17" is the black on the front and perhaps the buttons on the front facade.
What it does having going for it:
- 16x9 (the 18" is only 4x3)
- 600:1 contrast - this is the first time I can see the difference in picture quality (contrast ratio) with the 17 and the 18 sitting next to each other.
- it has a nice cover unit that hides the input cords on the side. only thing you see is the cords coming down and not all the jacks.
- built in tuner - though i didn't have much of a chance to get to test this. odd setup and like i said bad service.
if you have any questions lemme know. i'll try and answer them.
