This Onkyo unit good?
i'm thinking of this this Onkyo unit. does anyone have a good idea if this unit is good? it's the LS-V500. i'm not very knowledgeable with home theater systems but i i know onkyo brand is very reputable and was highly recommended.

great. thanks. i did a search on this unit and the cheapest place is like $500 something....
even circuit city has it for over $800. is it realistic to get down to $200? it's a very nice unit with lots of features compared to it's standard 660 series...

My comments are all wrong! I did not get the pic from your link and though it was a different system.
This system would be good at $500! There is a very simular Pioneer system at BestBuy call the HTS-910 (or 920) which is in this same range for 50% off right now on line. It is also worth a look
