OK, I will be your friend forever if you can help me with this one...

I had an existing Philips Tivo (an old 13 hour model that has been upgraded to 144 hrs)... I just got DirecTV (Philips brand receiver)...

I am using the infrared connection to change channels, but the problem is, it doesn't change channels correctly when the channel has the same digit twice in a row (i.e. 011, 335, etc)...

Does anyone know a way to fix that problem? MTV and some other good channels have the same digit back-to-back...
