best place to buy DVD-R, DVD-RAM blank media?

Hey gang,

I just bought a new Panasonic recorder, and am trying to find good places to buy blank media (DVD-R and DVD-RAM). Any online places or stores you know of that have good prices (good spindle prices would be most desired) would be great. Seems like there's so many out there, I can't figure out where to go. Thanks for any help!

I also buy through them exclusively. Good prices and (so far) great service.

Best Buy when they do their month media sales. Fuji and TDK DVD media.

Definitely www.meritline.com

I buy from them more often than not... great service, great prices. On a few occasions they have been out-of-stock on items I wanted. At those times, I've actually found some eBay sellers with similar prices and shipping times. It may be worth investigating that option, as well.

And, if I may suggest, I buy Ritek brand DVD-R and DVD-RAM exclusively. Great quality and great price.

Welcome to DVD recording... I own a Panasonic DMR-E50 and it's a blast!

Just a side note. Good thing you guys didn't post in the computer forums, 'cause this thread would've been shut down (by the mod there) so fast w/ the mention of copying DVDs... errr, I meant backup... no really, I meant home movie authoring on DVD.

Any thread anywhere here will be shut down for those discussions. Thanks for your remark, but that's the policy here.

If you can't handle that rule there are other forums that you might prefer.

Just bought a Magnavox DVD Recorder today. I was just thinking of where to buy blank DVD+Rs. I'll check out meritline.

I'm going to be recording a ton of stuff from TCM, so I'll need all the blanks I can get.
