I don't use it for HT, but I have a JBL MP-418SP with the built in Crown amp that pushes 660 watts RMS. I use it for the low end on my PA system and it will cause structural damage to my house if I'm not careful. My friend with a "high end" HT thought he had something good until he heard this. Perhaps it's not practical for HT, but if low end is what you're after, outside of club systems, I have yet to find an equal. (Ok, maybe some Mackie Fussions!)
