3D group at Yahoo

I'm just setting it up, but I'd like to invite anyone interested to join my DVD3D yahoo discussion group. It's primary focus (no pun intended) is the various types of 3D viewing technology for movies and video and the various titles out on DVD and other formats.

The best (IMO) are the 4 IMAX titles on DVD which require the use of shutter glasses. Basicaly these the same type of glasses that you wear when you go to see a 3D presentation at an IMAX theater. The shutter glasses system is surprizingly easy to set up for a DVD player and works very well. Of course the 3D effect is not as spectacular as it is when you see it on a movie screen the size of a building, but the effect is by far the best you can get for home video....ahh but to get more info, you'l have to join my group, or just do a bit of googling for shutter glasses, 3D, DVD, IMAX, etc.

I wish they'd release Cyberworld, the 3d effect in IMAX was spectacular.
