Static from speaker
I have a R.C.A RT2600 HTIB.The problem i am having is static type humm in my left front speaker(it did not do this before). The speaker wires do not run by any power cords,i have tried switching different speakers to the right front terminal and it does not make a difference.Do any of you have an idea what i could try to help fix this?Thank you for any help you might have.

Is it the left speaker or the left channel?
If it is the speaker it is probably a bad driver or loose terminal. If it is the channel it is probably the receiver speaker terminal.
Check the cables for nicks or touching copper anywhere. Try a different outlet if possible as it maybe some RF interference from something else in the room.

Thank you for the help.I found out what it was. When the guys had set it up for some reason they hooked up a audio/video cable for a vcr(never mind that i don't have a vcr!)So it was just hanging down in back and some how was causing it,once removed the humm was gone.
