I have one question regarding internal DVD burner. The spec says that P3 800 or equivalent. I have p3 533 processor. Will it work ? All other specifications are met. The burner in question is Cendyne 4x2x12 internal dvd burner at Staples.com
Thanks in advance for replies.

In answer to a question about playback of DVD-RAM. DVD-RAM will playback in players designed to play RAM such as Panasonic RP 82, S35, and many more. Of course RAM will also play in all the RAM player / recorders made by Panasonic, Samsung, Toshiba and Hitachi.

Well I finally broke down and got the Philips 985 for $399 at Fry's. It's great, but I want my 2-sided blank discs dammit!

Bestbuy has a new Sony model that plays/records both DVD-R & DVD+R as well as both rewritables. Looks pretty sweet.

The Sony drops a lot of the flexibility you normally get with the DVD+RW formats though. I've heard you can't add chapter marks or edit like you can on the regular DVD+RW machines.
