Mitsubishi HD Pic Problem HELP!!!!
I recently noticed this, and maybe this was always like this, but the colors when i watch DVD's seem to have an orangish/greenish tint. Not a vibrant red and blue....maybe it's the movie though....
I have:
Panasonic RP82 DVD player with component cables, and yes, it is in Progressive scan mode.
Mits 55" 55809 i believe (i gotta double check the model #)
I'm wondering what most people have there settings on (i.e. Color, TINT, Brightness, Contrast...etc) I believe this is my main problem. My Tint and Contrast seem to be the main offenders.
Also, does anyone know hoe to get into the service menu? I believe you can correct the Red-Push and other things....
I was thinking about getting the AVIA disc, but it's getting mixed reviews.
Someone please HELP

Nobody can tell you the settings to use on your particular setup.
Get Avia and use it.

Yeah, i will probably get Avia. I figured out how to get into my service menu, but i really don't want to mess around with the settings.....too much stuff to screw with.
However, i've adjusted my other settings, and it seems that i need to turn my TINT way up to get natural flesh tones..anyone else do this? Could it be a hardware problem? Cable problem?

Your best source for resouces with Mitsubishi HD RPTV's is www.hometheaterspot.com . Go to the forums and to the Mitsubishi forum for general help. For $25 you can get a membership and have access to the Tweaks section of the forums. Here you will find specific tweaks including service menu access and tips to get the most out of your TV, very important information as you can permanently screw up your TV in the Mitsu service menu if you are not careful.
