anyone in here own a loewe tv?

hey, im in the market for a tv, and was wondering if anyone in here owns a loewe tv? ive seen them around, and to me, its the best image ive seen on ANYTHING. its either between that, and XBR sony, or a Tau panasonic (surprisingly good...).

size isnt an issue, i dont care if its small, i just want the best picture for the price.

I do.

You pronounce it "loofa." Or something.

That's hard to judge. The Loewe's picture is supposedly very good, but you'll be paying a very high premium price for it. If you're looking for "value", this is probably not the set for you.

There are a number of less expensive sets capable of producing an excellent picture. Perhaps the Loewe is a bit better than them, but is it exponentially better to justify the price difference? That I can't say.

well, ive seen loewe tv's, and the image quality is the best ive seen, period. and ive seen the new runco plasma, mitsubishi and pioneer elite plasma i sell, and ive seen sim2 and runco projectors too (in the $50K+ range). it beats them. you can ask most people that have seen both, the loewe wins out.

i can get the calida 32" for $1500 (special dealer price), or second choice is a panasonic 36" high def for $1100. its an extra $400, but i dont know if i really want to spend that... i honestly think it's worth it, but im just wondering if someone owns it to attest its worth the extra $400 for a smaller screen.

Check the tube TV section of AVS forum - I'm pretty sure I remember seeing a few Loewe owners posting there.
