Furniture, Seating, and Chairs...the neglected component

Having recently finished acquiring and assembling my HT components my attention has turned to the more aesthetic features of my HT. I would like to replace my typical couch, love seat, chair, coffee table, etc. with dedicated recliners and/or recliner sofas that have an art deco flair to them. Although my local La-Z-Boy (www.lazboy.com) has some interesting pieces (Zita, Marlo, Sedona) local furniture stores barely address the needs of the HT enthusiast. My concept was to purchase 6 recliners that would form two rows of three in a slight arc directly facing the big screen with the second row on a platform about 8 inches high. Or possibly a recliner sofa and a recliner chair in each row for watching chick flicks with the wife.

What pieces of furniture have some of you more experienced HT enthusiasts settled on and how have you arranged them? Photos? I would also like to hear about any other threads that may discuss this topic and/or web sites that could be of some assistance.

Thanks in advance.

Our home theater is also our family room so we went with the leather furniture (Pics in sig). I have one LZBoy sofa in the livingroom and it's a piece of crap. Started falling apart immediately.

If you don't follow Audio Video Interiors, you might check out http://www.audiovideointeriors.com/ or pick up a copy at the news stand for some ideas.

i'm a big fan of the chairs shown here;

i bought mine at a Big Lots for $60.
they didn't have red though, only black.
very comfortable, doesn't take up much space, inexpensive.

Maybe it would be most wise to invest in a 32-theatre complex?

But then I would have to put up with annoying people who think we can't hear them talking on their cell phone nor could I put the movie on pause for a refrigerator run.
