The picture darkens on my Malata 520. need help
I apologize if this is in the wrong forum, or if I should have tacked it onto the bottom of a Malata thread, but...
In the last week or so, the picture on some movies just darkens, and then flips back to its proper picture. (like if someone was playing with the brightness control in photoshop). I'm not sure if my Malata 520 needs a firmware upgrade, or if I have it all hooked up wrong. Any ideas?

DVD Talk Legend
It sounds like you have the DVD player running through a VCR, which is triggering Macrovision copy protection. If that's the case, you need to disable Macrovision in the Malata.
