Hitachi Big Screen HDTV problem
at first it just seemed as if this TV suffered from what all HD's suffer from when rec'ving cable signals, and that's a degradation of quality, but when I play xbox or watch a DVD movie on this TV there seems to be what is remminiscent of red push, but it's blue, and it's crooked. It is sort of like there is the original picture, and then a blue essence of the whole picture set at like a 10 degree angle, on the left side of the screen, you can see it shadow above and object, and on the right side, it shadow's below.
Everything sort of meets up in the center and there's really no problem there.
I connect the dvd player using component cable, and the xbox as well(monstercable)
I dunno what is wrong...
i'm thinking something about the geometry or tint angle or something, i'm sorry i don't know the technological terms.
have you guys heard of anything similar to this, and how to fix it??

I have a 57uwx20b. I can either do a magic focus or a manual convergence. This basically adjusts the color points on your screen. Magic focus only adjusts some, and manual adjusts many more it just takes patience. To do this go to menu and in the Video menu you will see Magic Focus. From there is says Magic Focus or Manual. Choose manual and it will bring up a large grid on the screen. You now need to make these points white by moving to each point and adjusting the colors. You can adjust the red and blue colors. Your manual should explain this too. I did this just the other day and it helped a bunch.
