help with sony KV-27FS100

Hello all,

I'm thinking about buying this tv. I keep reading that the 16:9 enhanced mode is wonderful. I have a question though, my friend had the old KV-27FS13, which was the 27" before the FS100. On his tv, when you turned on the 16:9 enhanced mode, it added an extra set of black bars to the top and bottom. So you got a smaller picture and two distinct sets of black bars on the top and bottom. Is this normal? Does this happen with the FS100 tv, and most importantly, how can I use 16:9 enhanced without having extra bars and without losing any image size?

Thanks.

p.s. anyone have the KV-27FS100 and want to give me some opinions?

Somebody link him that anamorphic squeeze tutorial wepage. I can't seem to find it. Oh yea.. your friend is gettin the double black bars because he forgot to set his dvd player to output 16:9, and not 4:3, which is what he had his set at.
