Anyone heard of or witnessed the perfect DVD-player?
I'll soon be buying a DVD player, thinking about price range between $100-400. However, the research is baffling me.
Some players supposedly skip, some players die after a certain period, some players don't play all DVDs (Disney being notorious for that).
It seems that Sony gets most recommended, but I've heard that some of the cheaper ones are trash.
Anyone heard of or witnessed the perfect DVD-player? If you have, I would appreciate to hear your opinion.

I recently upgraded my old Toshiba to the Panny CP-72 and I love it.
It's played everything I've thrown in, even the 102 Dalmations DVD that my old Toshiba wouldn't touch.

Sorry but there is no such thing as perfect.
The player that won the latest shootout was the Panasonic RP82 which is now discontinued by Panasonic.

You also do not say what kind of TV you have, that makes a difference.
