The are having a lot of problems with this machine. The progressive scan makes the picture look worse, not better. The recent firmware upgrade actually disables features. The CH-402 is a better machine if you can get it. The only big difference is lack of progressive scan (which is awful anyways) and an optical digital out (it has a coaxial digital out). I have the CH-402 and it is bullet proof (play anything).
