Component video extension / coupler ??
Do component video extension cables or couplers exist? Can I just use an RCA female/female coupler and two component video cables to create one longer cable?
My TV only has 2 component video inputs, but I now have 3 sources: HD cable, DVD, and Gamecube. My receiver doesn't have component inputs, so I'm on my own. I've seen switches, but they call cost $100, which is more than I want to spend. If I could just get another cable so I could plug and unplug my dvd and gamecube whenever switches between the two without digging around the back of the TV, it would be great.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Joel

Is that a "yes, you can use RCA couplers without loss of signal when joining component video cables"?
