HDTV convergency issue

recently I have noticed that the left and right side of the 25 point
convergency menu are somewhat bigger then the reference cross
on both the red and blue

when I match the crosses
it seems like there's a halo around them unlike the the crosses
towards the middle of the screen, which match perfectly

I think this why when I watch DVD with edge enhancement I see
slight blue/red edges

anyone else have the problem and have a possible fix?

thanks

Would help if you posted what brand and model of set you are using... Convergence menus, settings and tweaks are different for all brands.

That said, I can't help you. I have a Panny and by your description, you do not. Could be a gun focus problem if I were to take a blind stab at it...

Indeed... But convergence menus are not the same on every set and service menus are certainly not the same... Could even be a matter of opening the set up for something internal if it's a focus problem...

Did you try posting here > http://www.hometheaterspot.com/htsth...t=&Board=UBB36 ?
