my aud/vid shelves/racks

my completed audio/video shelves/racks

so lets hope the pic's come through this time here goes,

the before, the components just on top of my tv


first one and ready for the components


some of the components in place


the right side


the left side


the end results


the materials, total cost just under $100.00,

1 - sheet of 4x8 oak plywood
6 - 8ft pieces 3/4" oak trim for edge of plywood
4 - 10ft 3/8' threaded rod
3 - 10ft 1/2' conduit tubing(cut to size and painted flat black)
8 - 3/8 nylock nuts
8 - 3/8 reg nuts
16 washers
8 wooden balls for top of racks(painted flat black)
1 can polyurethane
1 can of hunter green stain for oak trim
2 cans of flat black spray paint
1 can of spray primer

my next project is to get my game consoles on same type of shelves/racks.

Very nice! The use of conduit and end caps really hides the fact that its threaded rod.

Nice stain job too!

yeah never really thought about the weight of all the components but no harm done.
