Easiest way to get dts on xbox.
I watch a lot of dvds on my xbox which is connected to a computer monitor. I want dts sound on that but i dont know if its possible. The monitor is not connected to a pc. Also please dont reply with stupid things like "just buy a tv" or something like that. Thanks

Again, the monitor/tv/video doesn't have anything to do with DTS, and you don't need to pass video through a receiver.
With an XBox, you just need a digital audio output fed to a digital audio input on a receiver. The receiver decodes the DTS (or DD), puts it out through the speakers, and you're done.
This has nothing to do with TVs, monitors, or video converters. The video signal will come out of the Xbox and into your monitor the same way it's doing it now.
