receiver help
I need help with a receiver. I am looking at a JVC that will cost between $300 and $400. It has DDex and DTSes which is nice but only delievers power to 5 channels so I would have to buy an amp. Are these external amps expensive? Is JVC a good brand of receiver? I am also looking at a Pioneer and a Yamaha. The Yamaha is $499.99 at Bestbuy, but it looks really nice. Any advice would be helpful.

getting a seperate amp is almost never cheaper then to pay a few extra dollars and getting a 6.1 channel receiver. As for comparing receivers if you give us the model numbers that would help alot.
