Panasonic DMR-HS2 questions

I noticed this on Panasonic's web page specs:

*Recording from the hard disk to a DVD-RAM or DVD-R disc cannot be
done with images for which only single-generation recording is
allowed. When recording these images to a DVD-RAM disc, the original
image on the hard disk is erased.

Any idea what it means?

Also, it's listed on Crutchfield.com as in stock. Price tag 999.99.
Maybe as other retailers offer it, the price will drop. After all,
Panasonic's MSRP is aslo 999.99.

I'm picking this up this weekend. My local retailer is price matching Ecost's price of $747.

I can't WAIT!!! I have a ton of questions as well.

As far as I know...you can make multiple copies of discs without copy protection. You can rip it to the hard drive and make as many copies as you like.

There have been no reviews out as of yet.
