controlling an apex dvd player w/o remote

Is it possible to control the "P/N" function found on the remote of an apex player without actaully having the remote?

If you mean from the player itself, as far as I know, no. At least not on my player. If you're missing a remote you can contact Apex and they will sell you a new one for $20, or for about the same price you can get a Radio Shack 5 in 1 universal remote, which is one of the extremely few remotes that actually has codes for the Apex.
