I have a sharp 720X (region 4) DVD player. I am able to play region 1 DVDS but I am having trouble playing RCE DVDS. I can not get past the Region Map.

Any suggestions would be helpful

The first thing we need to know before we can help you is, how is it you're able to play Region 1 DVDs on a Region 4 player? Has it been modified, and if so, is it "region-free" or "multi-region"?

I think it is region-free. I paid extra so that I could play dvds from any region

If it's just flat-out region-free, you're probably out of luck. If it's region-switchable, you can try putting a non-RCE Region 1 disc in the player to set it to Region 1, then put in the RCE disc you want to watch.
