Dual layer DVD playing...question

I'm looking to upgrade my 5 Disc SONY DVD player for a couple of reasons:

1. I want it to be able to read CD-R/W's
2. I have an HDTV and would like Progressive Scan
3. My current player (DVP-C660) does the pause between layers.

My question is...what feature exactly do I look for to eliminate the dual layer thing?

The player that I'm currently looking to get is the SONY DVP-NC655P (http://www.hifi.com/store/category.c...655&type=store)

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

You need to find a DVD player that has a memory buffer (sort of like the anti-shock in a portable CD player). I'm not sure of too many players with this feature and I now the ones that do have it really don't do that good of a job.
