Line Doubler for Cable TV?

I've got a progressive scan dvd player hooked up to my Toshiba 65HX81, along with the cable company's standard set-top box.

Should I put a line doubler between the stb and the tv? Make my cable essentially progressive?

You are not going to get much improvement, if any, by adding a line doubler to the cable box. Besides your TV should have a built in line doubler so just turn that on for the cable input. On the Mitsubishi TVs you turn it on by switching to film mode.
