Hey All!

I am finally going to break down and purchase a DVD player, but I am only looking to spend around $150. I don't need all the fancy features but what I am looking for is:

DVD/CDRW/CD/MP3/VCD Compatability

FOR MP3's I am specifically looking for a unit that will handle VBR (Variable Bit Rate) and allow the Shuffling (or Random Play) of files.

I am having some problems finding a unit that will do the random play and handle VBR that fit in my price range, but i'm hoping someone here knows of one.

I purchased a APEX 1200 which is actually a very nice unit , but it does not handle VBR or Random Play of MP3's. It also truncates MP3 names to 8.3 which I can live with but it would been nice to find a unit that doesn't do that either.
