Sub $2000 HDTV showdown! (well, sorta)

I actually just would like some opinions on these three sets.

Panasonic: http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...t=24&scat=1470

Samsung: http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...t=24&scat=1470

Toshiba: http://www.bestbuy.com/detail.asp?e=...t=24&scat=1470

Hope the links work...

Out of those three I prefer this one:

Don't ask me why, I just like it.

Out of those three... uh, it wasn't in those three.

I didn't see that one when I was looking though. Good find.

Out of those three, I believe that you'll probably get the best picture out of the panny, if you're willing to tune it. As you probably already know, all RPTV's require calibration before the picture is really good. The panny is well known for having an excellent after calibration picture.

Here's some hints on it:

The one Kevlar suggested is brand new, but initial reports say that this one is also very very good, perhaps even better than the PT-47WX49. It's also nice in that it has a HDCP compliant DVI input. Colors are supposed to be a strong point. I've only seen a non-calibrated one (stopped by BestBuy, land of horribly calibrated TV's), so I cannot tell you for certain.
