My co-worker is trying to buy an Apex player on eBay and I'm trying to dig up information for him, so I have a few questions. Can you still buy the players that have methods of disabling region settings from a B&M store? Is there a specific model or models I should be looking for?

I'm pretty clueless about these, thanks for any input.
