I've never even heard of the dimax device. Sima makes two devices you should look at. The cheaper, the Copy Master, is available at Best Buy for about $50, but it doesn't do a very good job. The more expensive Sima SCC costs about $100 and does a great job, all you could ever ask for. You can search the Internet for it, or I know it's available at www.cameraworld.com.

My friend has bought it for his family. Fine quality of image,
easy use. And enough good price.
