Does anyone know what is wrong with a DVD player, when it seems to "blink" when playing?

Layer change if it happends once about half way into the movie..

Is it wired in through your VCR?

It is wired through my VCR, but I've never had this problem before. Also, it blinks throughout the entire movie... What I mean is, that you never lose sight of the picture.... it just "blinks"... Who knows..

That sure sounds like macrovision. Kind of like the brightness fading in and out?

no, it doesn't fade in and out.... I've conquered that problem once before.... it's like that, only flashes of brightness....
