Help changing DVD region settings

Has anyone successfully managed a change of a Pioneer DVD player into multi-region? I'm going to be buying one very soon, and to date, no site I've visited has said it's possible. What are they Fort Knox? It's got to be possible! Anyway, as common as code hacking is (seems almost as common as dubbing movies), I don't think it would hurt to share this bit of info would it? And besides, they said it couldn't be done with Panasonic brand, but now it's possible. Surely, it can be done with Pioneer as well?

If it helps, the model 'll be buying is the Pioneer DVC-503 5 disk changer. Thanks.

Here's an example of a quick search for the terms "Pioneer" and "region" in this forum. It's generally easier to search for info on topics like this than to wait for somebody to answer your question, especially when the topic comes up so often (since the same people aren't likely to want to provide the same answers over and over again).
