Sony DVP-S360 DVD player Problem!

I got a problem with my sony DVP-S360 dvd player. I bought it a year ago.
And it was working fine until yesterday. After I press "power", either on remote control or on the player, the power light goes green, "SONY DVD" appears on the screen, then the player goes back to standby mode again in a couple seconds. The problem is same even I press "Open/Close" or any useable button. I got the problem after the famous "C:13:00" problem.

Anybody met this problem before or has an idea what's going on?

Thanks.

Well, from what i hear this is the only soloution. the 360's have been well known for that and it always seems to happen at around the year mark (right when warranty runs out). Wait till u get some more responses and figure out what to do next

goto audioreviews.com, then to dvd players and sony dvp360, it never got a very good rating but i remember someone saying if u go into the dvd players service menu and do something it might work, but i think it was only like a 50/50 chance but check it anyways.

peace
