Nice setup.
Is it possible to put the center channel directly on top of the tv? What about moving the receiver to a rack, or at least somewhere it has more space around it?
Also, what about moving your mains down so that the tweeters are closer to ear level? While you can angle them down where they are, I'd think that the reflections off of the ceiling would give you less than these speakers are capable of.
Just a thought or two.

Thanks for all of those comments and strategies for getting even better sound. Problem is I'm working in such a confined space I can't do any of your recommendations. But when I go to college I can't wait to try out all of the different combinations of speaker placement. Thanks!

I think I had a boom box before I went to college.

How about putting your receiver on top of the dvd player? This would accomplish 2 things:
1) Get the center channel down a bit (although with the mains up high, I guess it's not as important)
2) Get the center channel off of the top of the receiver. Depending on where the vents are on the receiver, this might be a good idea. Heat is a killer.

Wow...nice setup for not even being in college. I am currently on my way out of college and have my eye on a similar tv.
I have the luxury of having a bit more space (2 bedroom apartment, living alone and spare bedroom is an office) ..though my funds are tight just in case none of my prospective jobs pan out. Keep your fingers crossed and best of luck.

ps. Dorm rooms are small....you should lend me your tv, i'll take care of it free of charge and I can give your my panasonic 20" flat screen.

I love those NHT's...
Possible future upgrade: Replace the R/L speakers with the SuperTwo's and throwing the SuperOne's for RS/LS, and then throwing the SuperZero Xu's for a rear center set up.

There is no justice in this world.
Just kidding, I'm just really jealous, and really poor. I don't suppose you want to goto Purdue and need a roommate eh?
Nice equipment.

your set-up is very nice, BUT! you've should've removed your sneakers in front of your subwoofer before you photograghed it. it may have looked more presentable. just a thought, no offense personally
