Where to get region free dvd player?
hi i keep hearing about region free dvd players where can i get one of these and i have a panasonic dvd player is there a way to mod it to make it region free?

My boyfriend bought me one and then zapped the chip inside to make it region free but you can buy them on ebay already done.
The info is below...
The DVD player is an Apex 600. He bought it on-line (dont remember the
site) and downloaded the firmware hack to make it non-region. Ebay would
be a good place to start maybe? Just be sure its an Apex 660 with the 9MM
or 9AM update.

Go to Sam's and get yourself a Daewoo 5700. They cost $100. Then hit www.nerd-out.com. They have information on how to very easily (remote trick) make it region free. For $100 I can say I easily got more than my money's worth. On top of that it plays PAL, too.
