i would like to get one.
Logically, I would think I could get a used one for dirt cheap but I haven't run across one, but then again, i haven't been looking too hard either.
If any one has any ideas, let me know

Pawn Shop. Mine was around $30.

I still have the one pioneer I got when I started the laserdisc collecting... still works fine.

.90

I have a Pioneer LDS2 that works 90% of the time :(
I don't want to repair it because it weighs like 65lbs and cost $3K when it came out.. Repair bill will probably be through the roof..

Zero.

Sold my Sony MDP-605 on ebay last year for $200.00
Sold my Denon 3100 on ebay last year for $150.00.

At one time I did think LD was the best until I purchased the Panasonic A-310 also.

Then I sold all 50 of my LD (already had them on DVD) for $187.00 on ebay.

I still have Aladen, E.T. Box edition, and Star Wars Box set. No player but they look nice.

Hmm... mine is a CLD-3070, too... I got it in 1990, and it has worked perfectly ever since, except the remote died a couple of months ago (or maybe it is the remote window on the main unit?)

What happened to yours, and do you still have it?

Pioneer DVL-700. Had one firmware upgrade and the only disc I can't play is "The Emperor's New Groove SE".

I'm going to get the Panasonic RP-91 next week.
