TV purchase help

HERE is the TV I am considering. Now what I need to know is: Is there anything that I'm not getting with this TV? I don't really understand all of this new tech stuff like progressive scan, composite outs, etc... Now I know it's a projection HDTV, is the quality sub-par being a projection?

Basically, I just need some input from some serious afficianados!!!

The specs look good. Do you have a progressive DVD player? Have you seen this TV in action?

I will have a progressive dvd player very soon. I saw the TV in action and was very impressed. I'm only afraid of not getting some features that I may need (that I don't know about).

I hate to hijack my own thread, but, could someone explain the following things, and what they do:

Composite video jacks (blue/green/???)
progressive scan-what will THIS TV do different than a standard
optical jack(Do I just need the one wire, or still need 6 sep audio connectors)

Take a look at this forum's FAQ; it's the first thread on the first page.
