Question about tv reception

I got a Sony Wega tv this weekend, it plays DVD perfectly but the tv reception is a little snowy. I bought the gold plated cables for my dvds, do they make something like this for regular tv cables, or is there something I can do to improve tv clarity?

Which cables (connected to the DVD player) are gold-plated? How is your cable connected to your TV?

Do you use an antenna, or do you use cable for your tv source?

The S-Cable and the audio cables. My cable is connected to the back of my TV from the box outside the house with a coaxial cable. Sorry, not to good with the technical terms....

I have a $2000 Sony Wega XBR and I hate my cable picture too. These sets take a good picture like DVD or Satalite and make them great. However with regular cable like we have it can vary from very good to bad. I got digital cable last week and found out later it is still analog for the majority of channels. The only thing holding me back from Satalite is no local channels so I would have to put back up a ugly antenna on the house.

RE: Satellites

DirecTV is now offering an expanded lineup to their local channel line up! If you live in one of their markets, check them out!
