Questions about DVD's from BBV
I recently purchased several PVT's during the last "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" PVT sale at Blockbuster. On the disks there is a sticker with a security strip that covers the disk. Apart from being incredibly ugly, I'm wondering if it being there can potentially damage my player?
With the unequal distribution of weight, although minimal, can it mess something up? Also, if I use something like Goo-Gone to remove the sticker, can that screw up the DVD?
Thanks

Even though these security stickers make the disk look ugly, I'd leave it alone. I also bought some PVD's from Blockbuster and attempted to peel these stickers off. It's a pain in the butt, and one time, the darn dvd got stuck in my player. I haven't tried Goof-Off, but heard it's supposed to work, but not sure if this will mess up the dvd itself.

The guy at Blockbuster suggested that I might take them off because, true or not, people are apparently suing BBV because their DVD's messed up their players. I'll leave them on for the time being.
