Help Dvd Playing In Black And White
for some reason my dvd player is now only playing in black and white, any suggestions please, audio and video are fine, just only playing in black and white... thanks!

I know it sounds trivial...but check your video connections and make sure they are plugged in the whole way---especially if you are using S-Video.. I have had this happen to me, and it has always been a loose connection. Hope that helps!

Check your setup. You didn't tell it to play through component video when you're using s-video or vice versa, did you? And you're not playing PAL on a multi-format player, are you?

i tried using 2 different a/v cables, no s-video yet, i have the wire but not the tv haha.... i have tried pushing them in agian, but no go, any other suggestions? thanks!

yes dvd player was working fine until i moved, when i hooked everything up it is now playing black and white. haha no im not wacthing citizen kane. thanks though. even in the setup screen it is playing b/w. it is hooked up to the tv and not the vcr, only one input on tv.

Did you check the video settings on your TV for the input that your DVD player is connected to. It's possible it lost the settings when it was unplugged. Maybe the color setting is turned all the way down which would make the picture black and white.
