PS 2 - will it affect my Panasonic DVD player?
I just bought a Playstation 2 and after I play a Dvd movie in it, then use that same movie in my Panasonic DVD 320, it will not work. My Panasonic says "Cannot read this type of disc".
Can anyone help??
Thanks. My DVD player is 2 years old.

It should not make any difference. It is more likely a problem with the Panasonic player than the disc.
Some people recommend unplugging the player for a day to allow it to "reset", but Panasonics have also been known to develop laser/optical pickup problems (esp. the 110/310 series), so if things get worse, bet on having to repair/replace the player.
Also, it is not uncommon to encounter compatibility problems between specific discs and players (but these glitches are not usually "disc not recognized" problems).

Try one in your DVD player, then put it in the PS2 then try it again in the DVD player ... (of course with a rental disc)
There were reports early on of PS2's scratching disks ... maybe your Panasonic is not aligned properly and a few scratches are pushing it past its tolerance ...
